Curtis Robinson to Referee Harold Matthews Cup Grand Final & Junior Rep Grand Final Appointments

Association member Curtis Robinson (1030) has capped off a solid Junior Representative season with his appointment to the 2023 Harold Matthews Cup Grand Final.

Curtis joined the Metropolitan Development squad in 2019. He established himself to be one of the leading officials within the squad, touch judging the SG Ball Grand Final in his first season. He then made his Harold Matthews and SG Ball refereeing debuts in the 2020 season. Curtis joined the NSWRL Accelerated Learning Group in 2022, where he trained side by side with our members in the NSWRL High Performance squad members to further his craft.

This appointment is a massive reward for Curtis’ dedication ever since 2012 when he joined our Association.

We congratulate Curtis on his appointment, we also congratulate the following members on their appointment to NSWRL Junior Rep Grand Finals:

Jayden Kastelan: Women’s Country Championship - Standby Referee

Brodie Rushby: SG Ball - In Goal Touch Judge

Will Flint - Women’s Country Championship - Touch Judge

Reece Sammut: Women’s Country Championship - Touch Judge

Having 5 members appointed to NSWRL Junior Representative Grand Final day is a huge testament to the processes that have been in place for a number of years at the foot of the mountain.
