2012 Relay for Life

Penrith Referees will again be supporting the NSW Cancer Council Relay for Life to raise funds for, and awareness of, the important work done by the Cancer Council.

2011 saw Association members first participate in this 24 hour event, and raised several thousand dollars for the Cancer Council through individual and team sponsorship and conducting raffles over the weekend.  Over the 24 hour period, Penrith Referees always had at least one member on the track at all times.

Many members ran and walked for hours on end in memory and recognition of loved ones, making this a truly poignant event.

Relay For Life is an overnight, community event where teams of 10-15 participate in a relay-style walk or run to raise funds for Cancer Council. The event brings the whole community together for a night of fun, entertainment, celebration and remembrance.  Details for the event are:

Registration Fees: Early bird registration $15 per person (pay by 05 May 2012).  Registrations from 06 May 2012 onwards $20 per person.
